FUN INDOORS AND OUTDOORS!!!!!

We enjoyed our new playground equipment and the warm sunshine this week, however there were also lots of exciting things going on indoors like
a science simulated tornado, recycling projects, and cutting apart a lima bean.
Yes we know every letter in the alphabet, but really TEXTING????????
Another example of recycling two two liter bottles.  A simulated tornado.
Our study of plants led us to dissect a lima bean. We took off the covering, broke it into and discovered its tail or sprout where it attached to the plant.
Happy faces when they found it and relief when they found out they didn't have to eat it.

During Earth Day this week, we learned that it is better to recycle than to trash many items.  Egg cartons can become games or creepy caterpillars.

Each student can recognize the recycling symbol.   Here she is locating it on a cottage cheese container.
We love the new playground equipment.  Thank-you to the Shine family for donating it.

Putting the eggs in order by tens to one hundred.
We had our egg hunt inside.

Balancing an egg on the spoon.
Parts of our minds in motion maze.

Do the bunny hop, oh yeah!!!!1
Instead of duck, duck, goose, it's egg, egg, rabbit.

Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the air. There is new growth everywhere in nature and also in our Bridge class.  Just look at our pictures and see.
She finished a brand new puzzle all by herself.
The number line helped us to count by 2's.
The hula hoops became our giant lily pads.
Now that we're towards the end of the year, we are so careful to stay in the lines with our coloring.
May I take your order, please?
Help the frog hop onto the sight word.

Rainy day exercising indoors.  The name of this tape is "Bop Till You Drop"
Each turtle had a number and we had to get in the correct order.  Then we traded numbers and did it again.
Mrs. Angela thought the best way to learn the word (verb) spring was playing with a slinky.
Working hard on making individual covers for our portfolios.
We like to play hands on games.  This one is a tile matching game purchased with funds from our fall festival.

We made bird nests with shredded paper.

Be the first one to hit the sight word Mrs. Angela says.
