This week we discussed our family who is so very special to us.  Our friends, and our school are also important.  The highlights of this week were buddy drawing, making friendship necklaces, and our science unit on the sense of smell.
The moms and dads have been doing a wonderful job packing healthy lunches for us.  As you can tell we REALLY enjoy them.
It is also our special time to chat with our neighbors:)
Our science unit this week involved the sense of smell.  We smelled a lemon.
Some of the mystery jars contained bar-be cue sauce, coffee and bananas.
The tricky ones were chocolate, cherries, and mustard.
One thing about Musical Shares instead of Musical Chairs was you had to tell who you were sharing the chair with.
Just waiting for the music to stop so we can hop into a chair.
In the library area we have whisper tubes, you can read or whisper into them and your voice is magnified.
One of the favorite toys this week was the marble works.
Do we have a budding carpenter or architect????????
Sometimes little brothers just need an extra hug from another room.  Thank you big brother.
No peeking!!! Draw a shape to find out who will be your buddy.
1,2,3, go find your buddy by matching your shape.
Belly, buddy drawing.
Clean up included putting the markers away- a perfect sorting activity.
Working our fine motor skills making a friendship necklace with everybody's name in our class.
We had a birthday party for Mr. L.  Each of us marked the capital and lower case L's with party hats while we wore party hats.

Our first week at Kindergarten Bridge was totally awesome.  We are learning how special we are and how much fun school can be.  We are also learning the rules and to share with our friends.
Her face tells it all- the fantastic first week at LAP
The stamp says I love myself.  That was the message of the week.
These boys are playing in the sensory table filled with pom poms.
We put a puzzle together of our names.  If you got it in the right order, it turned out to be a heart.
Checking in the mirror to see what color eyes he has.  I think he likes what he sees.
Making our fingerprints showed we were all unique.
We start our bridge class off  everyday with active songs and
circle games like Head and Shoulders

An old favorite they love- The Farmer in the Dell
 Some of our dancing moves
A get acquainted game rolling the ball to one of our friends.
We enjoyed the beautiful sunshine this week.
