The themes of space, community helpers, and valentines all were super fun and involved with a lot of hands on activities. We made valentines for those we love including Jesus and tried to send them to Him by way of balloons, but our love was so strong it weighted the balloons down. So we cut the valentines off and sent the balloons to Him, anyway. We're sure He got them and loved them.
There is no gravity on the moon so we put on our moon boots and bounced from one star to another naming letters.
The sensory table was filled with shiny moon rocks.
Decorating our rockets was the most fun.
During our space theme we made constellations with stars.
We made the world with dot markers and coffee filters. Then we added a Bible verse to remind us who created the world.
We learned a lot about the post office. Here the boys are using their writing skills to make letters and then dropping them in the mailbox.
As part of our community helper week we dressed up as who we would like to be when we grow up. Below are our choices.
A teacher
A doctor
A number 1 dad
A baseball player
A hairdresser
A football player
A cowgirl
Construction workers
A postal worker
Balloon games during our Valentine party.
