Our Friends

Our circle begins with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Students recognizing their name on the board get to draw a picture underneath it

Sharing a book is more interesting with a buddy.

Each child chose a partner to design a picture.

Making a friendship web with yarn took all of us working together and not letting go.

We played a game to follow directions-elbow to elbow, and hand to hand.

The train is a favorite spot for playing with friends.

Our class went to the zoo Thurs. That is, we took a pretend bus to the zoo. We will visit many exciting places this year, wherever our imaginations will take us. Tickets please.

Our First Full Week

The warm sunshine and the fresh air gave us lots of reasons to enjoy the outdoors this week.

Our heights were measured and recorded. This will be the first one for the year. A second one will be taken in Jan. and the last one in May to see our growth.

I asked for a happy smile---he was quite accommondating.

Child's play-so intense, but so much fun.

The play dough needs to be shaped, molded, rolled, and cut into the finest cookies.

Just how high can I build it?
Circle time presents an opportunity for listening, laughing, and sharing.

We ask God to bless our snack each day.

One imaginative mind can create all sorts of rooms in the dollhouse.

There's nothing better than a one man band, except some classmates to join him.

Our sensory table or sometimes called the discovery table involves activities that have to do with our senses. The boys here are practicing their cutting skills.

This student truly displays our motto,"Where the Love of Learning Begins"

Little hands working puzzles promote fine motor skills

Looking at books is so much fun. It won't be long, and we're going to be reading those books.

THE LAST HOORAY 5/26/10

This puppet curtain provided hours of entertainment for our young actors and actresses.

We hope the customer was satisfied with her hair and nails. I love getting candid shots like these.

We didn't really have to go to the zoo to see or hear the animals. Here we played a game of musical animals instead of musical chairs. When the music stopped, you had to find a chair, sit on it, and make your own animal sound. MOOOOOOOOOO

We didn't get to go to the zoo because of the rain, but Chuck E. Cheese was as wild as the zoo!!!!

The rain didn't stop us from all our TRIKE-A-THON festivities.

Do you think she even noticed it was raining?

Some real friendships were made this year.

Water play is probably everybody's favorite activity.

In conjunction with our farm unit, we made butter by shaking, shaking, shaking the whipping cream.

Our last pledge of allegiance for the year. Hands over hearts, not necessarily your own heart, as in this picture.
The end of the year ice cream party was perfect for this hot day!
Thank-you to all parents who gave us the opportunity to share your child with us this year.
