Healthy hearts and bodies and valentine hearts have been the emphasis the last two weeks. We learned so many things and made many discoveries about our bodies. We discussed how love should be everyday of the year and not just on Valentine's Day. We'd like to show our love for you by sharing these pictures with you. Love, The Kindergarten Bridge Pin the heart on Cupid. Everyone got right on the heart. You don't suppose we had any peekers?????????
Land the beanbags on the hearts. Try to get the highest number.
The guys said these heart airplanes needed some clouds so they gave them a personal touch. They're so creative. I loved it.
Letter recognition with m&m's. Yes, we ate as many we used.
Puzzle hearts
Perhaps not as much fun as eating chocolates, but matching up the right shapes in the box was a snap for these guys.
Each person 's fist was measured because that's about the size of our heart. Then our homework was to measure one of our parent's fist and compare the yarn and bring it back to school. It's fun to be scientists and make discoveries.
Our hearts pump the blood. The boys enjoyed coloring the blood red.
LUB-DUB, LUB-DUB is what we heard when we each got to hear our heart beat.
Ms Angela showed us how to find our pulse.
I found it and marked it with a blue sticker!!!!!!
Cutting out food from the ads in the paper.
Picking the foods from a bag and choosing if they are healthy or not healthy.
We learned that exercises like jumping, hopscotch, and Twister made our hearts beat faster.
After all that exercise, it's good to settle down and listen to a book on tape.
