This week we discussed our pets and what pets we would like to have. We are getting to know our friends better and are learning many new things.
His pet friend helped him pick a bone out of the dog dish, however he had to identify the letter and number on the bone and write it by himself.
I love to catch them in candid shots.
Working on "F" words. I said a word and they had to tell me if it started with the f sound. If they answered correctly, they got to put a feather on the bird. Then they made up their own words. Most interesting!!!!!!!!!
Doggie, doggie who stole your bone? This game helped us learned our classmates' names.
Pet week included some caterpillars and roly-polies this week.
My friend brought in her Red Cross trained Pet Therapy dog, Rudy to share with the children.
Rudy waiting patiently for his treats.
Rudy needed sunglasses for the hot day.
Rudy is used to nursing home and hospital patients, but the children loved him and were very gentle with him.
What is your favorite animal? Each student got to vote.
The results of our animal favorites. The dog won by a small margin.
Matching the right colored key to the same colored door at the animal hospital.
A card game of war to practice number value.
