We've learned some big words in the last couple weeks like paleontologist and extinct as we studied all about dinosaurs.  We also had fun doing exercises and learning about healthy foods for our heart.
Besides learning about healthy foods, we also learned that exercise is important.

Simon says game.  Perfect for listening skills.
Mrs. Angela brought in a pomegranate for us to sample.  Most of us liked it.
Everybody held up a healthy food for our bodies.
We need to know where our heart is in our body.
Mrs. Angela tracing feet for our dinosaur project.
So do any of these dinosaur teeth or faces scare you????

We made our own unique saurus by using our footprint and various other shapes.  We even got to name it.
Dressing up in costume made us feel more like the real thing.

The sensory table had play dinosaurs, eggs, magnifying glasses and all sorts of things for digging.

We made a pretend volcano and it erupted red lava.  So very fascinating.

This is serious stuff being paleontologists and digging for letters.
We listened to a story on tape about dinosaurs as we sat on a dinosaur blanket.
