Bubbles and Daisies

Wednesday, April 8, 2015

Although we did many fun activities like painting eggs and hunting for eggs, our main focus was the story of Jesus dying and rising.  I really feel like the children understood the importance of this idea.  We are very excited that spring is here and hope that these April showers do bring May flowers.
Holding the sponge with a clothespin makes it easier to paint.
Our sponge painted eggs.
He is putting the final touches on his egg basket.
This friend is putting the bunnies in order from 1-10.
Bunny confetti, plastic eggs and lots of rainbow rice filled the sensory table which was a big hit.
We made our own Easter bags.
Guess who's under the mask, Mrs. Angela?
A perfect day for an Easter egg hunt.

 Opening our eggs

Balancing eggs on spoons was one of our Easter games.

The Resurrection eggs were an interesting way to find out the story of Jesus' death and resurrection.
 Making those bunnies hop.
 Jesus is Risen Crosses.
Doing the bunny hop
We talked about the Statue of Liberty and the presidents.
Rainbow spaghetti at the sensory table was oh so FUN!!!!

Spring is sunshine, butterflies, birds, and flowers.
