This week was filled with lots of good literature from Eric Carle. His books are very appealing to children due to their beautiful illustrations and content. We also studied the sense of hearing which led us to roar like dinosaurs and perform in a marching band. It was a short but fun week.
Stomp and roar whose name on that dinosaur?
Giving their loudest ROAR........
Learning how a relay race works.
We made caterpillars to go along with one of Eric Carle's books.
Making an elephant bookmark and pretty happy about it.
He was testing out his bookmark to see if it really kept his place.
The Lego table was popular this week.
Mrs. Angela reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar with a sock puppet
Sequencing our numbered cans from zero to one.
Our marching band!!!!!
Definitely using our sense of hearing outside
Stacking cans only to knock them down and rebuild.
How magical is this. The white blank page was no longer white.
A chameleon and our name appeared on the page we painted.
Each of us got to select our favorite Eric Carle book we read this week.
The finished graph. Looks like Rooster's Off to See the World got the most votes.
Happy Birthday Miss E (the girls are vowels) We place pictures of words that begin with the e sound into the gift box.
